Best Time for This Safari

July to October for river crossing season in the north. January to March for the calving season further south, which we would route differently.

No. Crossings depend on rainfall, grazing and herd behaviour, all of which change year to year. Staying three nights near the river gives you the best realistic chance.

The drive from central to northern Serengeti takes most of a day. Flying gives you that day back for game viewing.
