Climb Questions

For most first-time climbers we recommend Lemosho or the Northern Circuit, because the extra days give your body more time to acclimatise. Machame is a strong alternative if you have fewer days.

Kilimanjaro is a long trek rather than a technical climb, but it demands consistent walking fitness and comfort with multiple days of effort. Regular hill walking in the months beforehand makes a real difference.

Yes. Altitude acclimatisation is time-dependent, so adding a day is the single most effective thing you can do for both comfort and your chance of reaching the summit.

Park and camping fees, your guiding and porter team, meals on the mountain, group camping equipment and transfers to and from the gate. Personal gear, tips and travel insurance are separate.

The main seasons are January to mid-March and June to October, when conditions are typically driest and clearest. Climbs run outside those windows too, with more chance of rain.
